For this Gallery, I wanted to share a little BTS with little questionnaire that I put together for my 10BARE ALL Project models both BEFORE and AFTER their their personally designed BARE ALL session.

I am SO inspired by all that Lindsay brought to her BARE ALL session aside from being ridiculously gorgeous, her thoughts on womanhood, motherhood and self reflection  are so RAW and beautiful that I think of her words often since reading them.

BEFORE:

What does it mean to you to be a woman? (honestly first thing that comes to mind)

-an intertwined blend of tenderness and strength

What makes you want a BARE ALL session?

-to me, it feels like an artistic experience I would never be able to experience on my own. Also, a chance to do some introspection…

When in your life did you feel the most beautiful/sexy?

-pregnancy gave me a purpose and a confidence about myself. I’ve never know anything like it.

What makes you feel passionate or sexy?

-besides wine…? Probably low lights, warm vibes, chill music and some peace and quiet.

If you titled your BARE ALL session with one word, what would it be?

-Unveil

What is your most valued asset? BODY/SOUL

-Body: ____collar bones____ & Soul: ____patience_____

Why do you want to discover a deeper you?

-I’m so disconnected from many things about ME, when the focus has been richly focused on my kids and husband for years. I’m in there somewhere, but I almost don’t know her.

If you knew you couldn’t fail, what would be the one talent that you’d pursue?

-Broadway or Opera

What is something you do that sets your soul on fire?

-being a part of collaborative efforts to praise/worship God. (Worship, intimidate bible study, seeing Him working in the lives of others)

What are you most afraid of in this session?

-Cellulite : ) ; probably just being able to relax enough and let go

What part about yourself do you fear ‘BARE-ing’?

– raw emotion (although it’s a beautiful thing)

What is your favorite Quote / Song / Artist that inspires you?

-“His mercies are new every morning” Lamentations 3:22-23 — it compels me to cling to grace… for myself and others

What does being a powerful woman mean to you?

-Strong enough to be soft, delicate, transparent and vulnerable

What does that look like in your everyday life? What does that look like in regards to your BARE ALL session?

-Everyday life: Trying to keep an authenticity and openness in my personal relationships. Being comfortable to disagree cordially and not tucking away certain parts of myself based on who I’m with.

This was fun!

Hugs,

Lindsey

AFTER:

Brit–
It was all a pleasure!

Can you remember it felt when you first said ‘YES I want this!’ …I want a BARE_all empowerment session?

I said “yes”, so eagerly know that anything Brittny touches is amazingly artistic and gifted. Then I was like, I don’t know if a totally know what I’m in for, but I’m up for it!

What did you learn in the process of thinking about your deeper self and creating your own BARE_all Session?

I truly realized that since motherhood I have tucked away and not accessed a lot of the introspective, artists, pensive, creative sides of myself. It used to be a regular thing to do an artsy photo shoot, or write a journal or poem, or construct a creative collage. Where’d that girl go?!

What is one thing you wish you did at your session?

Maybe take off more clothes. Lol.

What would you change about BARE all sessions over all? (honestly .. it’s ok! I am totally open to CC)

Not a thing! It was easy and natural and stretching and enhanced by the direction of Brittny and Dominique. It went far more fluid and natural than I could have hoped.

Would you recommend a BARE all empowerment session to any of your friends? If so, Why her?

I already have recommended the session to a few friends! It is a powerful way for women to be art and learn or revisit a side to themselves they don’t get to see otherwise.  Also, to celebrate the bodies we have TODAY.

How has your BARE ALL  session impacted the way you see yourself?

It made me feel like this:

I am enough. For myself. For my husband. For my kids. I don’t need to workout 5x a week, spin my wheels on how to dress and style myself, make perfect Pinterest projects or have like 30 million Instagram followers. I am great with this 31-year-old, devoted wife, mother of two Lindsey. She is maybe my favorite version yet.

Would you be willing to put yourself out there and share a snippet of your story or experience to encourage other women to find their power?

I was a little nervous about seeing myself, not just my physical body, but the emotions evoked. It was a stretching process, but it felt so natural to be dressed as minimally as I wanted and to sit, breath and take some time to ponder (and be photographed!). Brittny and her assistant were so calming and encouraging through every moment of it. I left feeling refreshed and awakened. The photos I will treasure for myself and cannot wait to share with my daughters someday.
Now… after all of that.. What does it mean to you to be a woman?
Beauty and infrastructure married together in a sweet & complex little cocktail

Thank YOU for letting me be a part of this incredible, uplifting project!

Hugs for days,
Lindsey
PS Even this feedback experience was neat. Love it.
